Iroha

A collaborative piece made with students from Toyama Institute of Glass Art in Toyama, Japan. The Iroha is an ancient Japanese poem that uses every character in the Hiragana syllabary. It is an antiquated version of structuring the “ABC’s.” Vestiges of this ordering are still present in modern day.
